Kushendar Ramesh Reddy, with his distinct approach to cinematography, has made his mark by consistently captivating viewers and leaving a lasting impression with every shot.
A native of Hyderabad, Kushendar Ramesh Reddy’s passion for photography started in his childhood, a time when he was already drawn to the art of capturing moments. What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a deep passion, eventually turning into his professional pursuit. Throughout his school days, he worked tirelessly to buy his first camera, and the results of his work were well received, encouraging him to pursue photography seriously.
After completing his BFA in Photography, he took his skills to the next level by working alongside the celebrated DOP KK Senthil Kumar, contributing to massive blockbusters such as Eega, Baahubali 1, Baahubali 2, and RRR. During this time, he refined his craft, moving up the ranks to become a second-camera operator on major productions, gaining invaluable experience.
As his career progressed, Kushendar Reddy branched out into independent projects, exploring TV series and advertisement films. His feature film debut came in 2022 with Bhag Saale, a film starring Sri Simha Koduri, son of the legendary composer M.M. Keeravani. The success of Bhaag Saale was followed by Maa Oori Polimera 2, a film that garnered tremendous praise and further established his reputation as a cinematographer capable of making an impact.
One of his most notable contributions was to the film Razakar, directed by Yata Satyanarayana. This poignant historical drama required a delicate balance of narrative and visuals, and Kushendar’s cinematography brought the story to life in a manner that resonated deeply with the audience. His meticulous work made the history unfold on screen in a way that felt personal, almost as if the audience were witnessing it firsthand.

For him, it is the content and the vision of the filmmakers that truly drive his creative process. He is committed to elevating every project with his unique cinematic style and hopes to leave a distinctive imprint on the industry as he continues to grow and evolve as a cinematographer.
