Kantara just took everyone by surprise by mixing devotional, horror and action elements into the screenplay. The film showcased a pefect balance between adding commercial elements and bringing devotional content into the story to mesmerise audiences. 

Now, production house Hombale Films seems to be taking that example and going forward with God related content further. They have decided to present a film based on Lord Narasimha as Mahavatar Narasimha. This is the first film in proposed Mahavatar series.

Writer-director Ashwin Kumar is making the film with Kleem Productions as producers. The tagline of the movie reads, "When Faith is Challenged, He Appears." The makers have decided to celebrate the devotion to Lord Narasimha through this film on a massive scale, one feels so. 

Music by Sam CS suits the magnanimity of the vision of the director. The movie is releasing in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Even Kantara 2 has Lord Parasurama connection and this seems to be the action plan forward for Hombale along with Prabhas films.
