Gunasekhar and Samantha gets emotional during?

Samantha is all set to appear on Shaakuntalam, slated to open in theatres on February 17. The film is a romantic drama, written and directed by Gunasekhar.

This will be Samantha's first release after Yashoda. The film reached into everyone's hearts with the promotional content. Today makers released the film's trailer in grand event.

Director GunaSekhar and Samantha becomes emotional at Shaakuntalam trailer launch event while thanking Dilraju garu for his support for Shaakuntalam.

Speaking on the occasion, Gunasekhar said "This is the costliest film in recent times in heroine oriented film. Believing in Superstar Samantha and me, Dilraju garu backed this magnanimous project. Shaakuntalam is 'Mythology for Millennials'. From costumes to sets, we've meticulously crafted this film like a painting. Everyone will going to love it."

The film is bankrolled under Guna Teamworks. Neelima Guna is the producer. The initiative is being presented by dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creaatons. The music is composed by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma.
