It is known that Maverick filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham is simultaneously working for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. According to the industry buzz, Indian 2 will hit the silver screens first. 

To delight Shankar and Kamal Haasan fans, makers today gave a solid announcement about the update that's coming tomorrow. Most Likely makers will be announcing the film's release date.

A massive update of Indian 2 will come out tomorrow at 11 AM. The makers are planning for Tamil New Year release. We need to wait for a few more hours to know about it.

Indian (1996) was an industry hit in Kollywood, and it also brought a National Award for Kamal Haasan. The movie was released as Bharatheeyudu in Telugu, and it was a blockbuster here too.

There is solid hype around Indian 2 in Tamil and Telugu. The PAN Indian film features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, and Nedumudi Venu are essaying key roles in this vigilante action thriller.

Lyca Productions and Red Giant Films are jointly producing the film. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes.
