Dulquer Salmaan has been grabbing headlines as a producer for a change with his Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra blockbuster success. Despite competition from Mohanlal's Hridayapoorvam, the lady superhero movie has become a 100 crore grosser and it is still going strong at the box office.

The movie has collected Rs.106.35 crores gross at the box offce and it is set to collect further Rs.130-140 crores gross by the end of second weekend as Onam weekend is set to boost its box office in Kerala and Gulf countries. Also, the movie is consistent in Tamil and Telugu markets where it will face stiff competition.

Kalyani Priyadarshan has become the only South Indian actress to lead in a 100 crore grosser and emerged as a big box office star. Naslen, Chandu Salimkumar have been part of the cast with Sandy playing antagonist role. Dulquer Salmaan is overjoyed with the success and he credited it to entire team.

In Chennai, he stated that he will share profits of the movie and all upcoming parts with his team. Dominic Arun has directed the film with Nimish Ravi as Director of Photography. He promised that he will spend more budget in coming parts to make it even bigger and better Universe.
