Dulquer Salmaan has been selecting interesting scripts and he even produced a woman-centric superhero film, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Simultaneously, he completed shoot of his Kaantha, a vintage tale about a senior actor in 1950's. Selvamani Selvaraj is directing the film and team have now postponed its release.

The movie shoot had been completed and it had been planned for October release but to give Lokah more space in Pan-India markets, they took this decision. Dulquer Salmaan would have had to take many screens in Kerala from his production Lokah to accomodate Kaantha, which is also his production, co-produced by Rana Daggubati.

Well, Lokah has the potential to become Highest Worldwide Grosser ever beating L2: Empuraan. Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer collected huge Rs.266 crores gross worldwide becoming highest ever. Already Lokah has collected huge Rs.210 crores in 14 days and in the third weekend it could touch Rs.250 crores mark too.

If Kaantha releases at this moment, it would disrupt Lokah's momentum which is steadily collecting more than Rs.3.5 crores even on weekdays in Kerala post Onam holidays, too. Movie has potential to become second Rs.100 crores grosser in Kerala, behind Mohanlal's Thudarum, which collected Rs.114 crores gross.

Worldwide, Lokah is set to cross Thudarum (233 crores) and Manjummel Boys (242 crores), by the end of third weekend or third week, looking at the momentum. This could prove to be a very smart move from Dulquer to not bombard his own film. Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Chandu, Tovino Thomas, Sandy Master have acted in Dominic Arun's Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra.
