Dude starring Pradeep Ranaganathan, Mamitha Baiju has released on 17th October and producers have stated that the movie has crossed Rs.100 crores gross worldwide. The trade experts also state that it is close to 85 crores, which makes it a profitable venture theatrically, to producers Mythri Movie Makers.

But the movie has been one of the heavily trolled films in recent times. The storyline has issues with heroine not considering hero's emotions to live alongside with her lover in the same house as her husband and even getting pregnant. So, people are targetting it and trolling heavily.

While such trolls wanted a strong answer from the writer-director Keethiswaran, he replied stating that he is happy with the collections. He talked about how he always wanted to be able to direct a huge money spinner and is happy that he debuted with such a film. He stated that he would continue to give such messages in films.

These words have further fueled trolls against the film and him, as well. Several people on online are unable to think that a director is more concerned about box office rather than the content. They have stated that he should concentrate why such discussions and trolls are happening and not look at collections, only.

Pradeep Ranganathan is happy that he completed a hat-trick as leading man as well and his next film, LIK, is getting ready for release in December. But for Keerthiswaran, the things look a little bit too shady for a debutant. He might have to convince stars and producers to trust him for his next project.
