Director of Music School talks about young students suicide?
Updated : May 14, 2023
It's heartbreaking to see young, bright students commit suicide. In an ironic twist of fate, the suicide of six students in Hyderabad has been reported on the same day as the release of Music School directed by Papa Rao Biyyala. This film highlights the societal and parental pressures of academics on students.
The CBSE class 12th results were released on May 12th, and six students from Hyderabad and Nizamabad committed suicide. The director Papa Rao Biyyala talked about the same recently. He said “It is extremely unfortunate to witness a young kid with great potential lose his life due to the set standards and expectations of the society.
He added "Our film Music School voices the same concerns, promoting parents, teachers and society at large to ensure the over-all well being and development of the kids.”
It is just sad to see young and bright students committing suicides. Exactly the film Music School talks about the same issue through musical play.
Music School is currently successfully running in theatres across three languages- Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. With music by Ilaiyaraaja , Music School stars Shriya Saran, Sharman Joshi, Shaan, Prakash Raj, Ozu Barua, Gracy Goswamy, Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambegaonkar , Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh, Phani and many other child actors.
