Most talented Vikram's next is in Pa Ranjith's direction, titled 'Thangalaan'. It is one of the most hyped movies in recent times. The film features Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy in female lead roles. Thangalaan will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada along with Hindi on a pan-India level on January 26th, 2024.

Today makers unveiled a striking teaser without any dialogues. Vikram’s look is filled with rawness, rustic charm, brutality to the core. “As myth leads to history, as greed leads to destruction, as blood wars lead to liberty, rises the son of gold,” says the 90-second teaser of Thangalaan.

The teaser shows glimpses of what seems to be the story of a tribal leader’s fight against those plotting to take away their land to mine gold. The film is said to be based on a real story set in the Kolar Gold Fields during British rule in India.

We can also witness Malavika Mohanan in a key role with powers. Without any dialogue, the teaser raised expectations to next level. The score by GV Prakash is outstanding. Ranjith's signature style, portraying the lives of people from diverse backgrounds.

Apart from Vikram, Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan, the film also features Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan, Daniel Caltagirone, Preeti Karan and Vettai Muthukumar. KE Gnanavel Raja is producing under the banner of prestigious production company Studio Green in association with Pa Ranjith Neelam Productions.
