Chiranjeevi works towards resolution of Film Workers Strike

The Film Workers' Strike in TFI, is continuing from past 15 days without a probable resolution. Workers are continuing the strike demanding a 30% salary hike and now, they have met Megastar Chiranjeevi at his residence to bring this issue to a conclusion and achieve an amicable solution.

A delegation of 72 members, representing the 24 crafts, met with Chiranjeevi. They expressed their frustration with the producers, whom they claim are not listening to their demands and are instead laying blame on them.

During the meeting, the workers explained the potential losses they would incur if they accepted the two conditions put forth by the producers. They also brought up the issue of double call sheets on Sundays. "We hope that we will get the wages we have asked for," Anil Kumar, Federation president, stated.

The workers are scheduled to hold a general body meeting tomorrow, followed by a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce. The workers noted that both Chiranjeevi and Balayya Babu have been speaking for the resolution of the problem, without taking sides and this instilled hope in them for a quick resolution.
