Chhaava has opened to a good reception from everyone on 14th February. The movie has been performing very well at Maharashtra box office owing to the content. The movie has become highest opener for Vicky Kaushal and it is set to gross huge in coming days as well in Maharashtra. 

The movie did collect well in other North Indian markets as well but it did not have much affect in South. Still, with over 120 crores collection in three days, the movie has become first genuine big hit for Bollywood in over 6 months. Akshay Kumar's Sky Force did not really had that genuine appreciation that Chhaava is receiving.

Even though Maddock films, the production house did try to block and bulk book prior to release, movie did pick up on its strength from Saturday. Monday is also going good in several regions. Rashmika Mandanna is doubly happy with the success as she could be part of Pushpa 2 and Chhaava back to back. 

Vicky Kaushal wants this momentum to grow and catapult him into a star status. For now, he has been able to strongly establish himself as an actor with recognisable lore. Bollywood would be hoping for a better 2025 compared to lackluster 2024.
