Are Govinda and his wife taking divorce?

Govinda, one of the most popular stars of Hindi Cinema from 90's has been finding less opportunities these days. Even though he tried to make a comeback, he did not find similar reception. Now, the rumor mills are stating about him and his wife taking divorce.


Govinda has ventured into politics in early 2000's and became successful but he came out of Congress in 2009 after his MP tenure got over. He recently joined Shivsena in 2024, making a comeback into active politics. But the divorce rumors have shocked everyone. Because, he always admitted to be madly in love with his wife, Sunitha.


Well, in a recent interview, Sunitha stated that she is staying in a separate house from Govinda with her children. She stated that she would love to marry some other person, an anonymous person who is not a star in her next life. These comments have sparked such rumors all over.


Govinda's niece Aarti and even Govinda's manager dismissed these reports and stated that the couple have had some issues due to statements made by several family members. Currently, the 37-year old married couple are resolving issues and Govinda is planning his comeback film. The couple got married in 1987.
