VV Vinayak is one of the ace filmmakers in Telugu film industry, who has been successful in impressing the audience with his direction skills and scripting. He has also given big breaks to some young heroes.Now the director is all set to launch Akkineni Young lad Akhil.

The film was supposed to hit the floors by December but due to demise of Vinayak mother the event got postponed.Vinayak’s mother died recently with prolonged illness and the director is yet to recover from the loss of his mother.
 
Akkineni Akhil on Monday visited VV Vinayak's house in Chagallu village in West Godavari to pay condolences to the bereaved family. He spent a few hours with the family members of the filmmaker.
 
The hunt for heroine is still on for Akhil and there are bright chances of a fresh face from north to step into TFI.  For this prestigious project, Veligonda Srinivas (Damarukam fame) has penned the story and writers Kona Venkat-Gopi Mohan are writing the screenplay & dialogues for this Akhil launch vehicle. Akkineni fans are eagerly waiting to watch Akhil make his debut on big screen as hero.
