Actor Ajay Devgn has said his actress wife Kajol, who was once a close friend of filmmaker Karan Johar, doesn’t share the same equation today due to some personal issues. Ajay shared that this had nothing to do with Shivaay clash but was personal. Karan has always considered Kajol his lucky charm and the two have worked together on some great Bollywood films.

Ajay, whose directorial Shivaay will clash with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at the box office, also admits that he has issues with the filmmaker. But he says the reasons are "strictly personal". In September, Ajay demanded an investigation against Karan, who allegedly paid actor Kamaal R. Khan Rs 25 lakh to tweet positively about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and to write negative reviews for Shivaay.

"We have our issues and that's strictly personal, and nothing professional. Those are personal issues and I don't want to talk about it," Ajay said. “I am not friends with him (Karan). Even Kajol’s equation is not as warm as it was. It is a personal issue… not due to any professional thing. It’s a personal hurtful feeling. It has nothing to do with the clash,” Ajay said. When asked about the reason, he said, “I would not like to talk about it.”
