Under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, ace producer BVSN Prasad is bankrolling psychological horror titled ASVINS. The producer delivered a mystical blockbuster this year with Virupaksha. Now on June 23rd another horror film Asvins releasing in theatres in Tamil and Telugu. It stars the versatile actor Vasanth Ravi, who is known for exceptional performances in Tamil films Taramani and Rocky. 

 

The upcoming film features a talented ensemble cast that includes Vimala Raman, Muralidaran, Saras Menon, National Award Winning actor Udhaya Deep, and Simran Pareek in pivotal roles. This film is directed by filmmaker and screenwriter Tarun Teja. This young filmmaker has gained acclaim for his thought-provoking short films, some of which have received international recognition. Director Tarun Teja thanked SVCC head BVSN Prasad garu. "During the lock down, I made a short film with the concept of this film," he explained. I did it using the few resources I had. After seeing the short film, Bapineedu garu called me and suggested, "Let's make the same concept into a feature film." As soon as he said that, it appeared that an opportunity had presented itself from Warner Brothers. I completed Ashwin's film on schedule and with the full assistance and supervision of Prasad garu and Bapineedu garu. While narrating it, I informed Bapineedu garu that I wanted to give the audience a fresh theatrical experience in the horror genre. He also believed in me and encouraged me.

 

I believe the audience witnessing 'Asvins' in theatres tomorrow will have a different experience. This film exists because of the beautiful actress Vimala Raman garu. She watched my short film and forwarded it to co-producer Praveen Daniel. The short film was then went to the SVCC banner. Then it was made into a film. My heartfelt gratitude goes to her. Vimala Raman garu plays a key role in this film. The crowd will undoubtedly like her performance. There are also numerous aspects to the character of hero Vasanth Ravi. I wanted to be a powerful performer while also being the boy next door. He became connected as soon as the narrative was told to him. Vasanth is committed to playing Ravi. I have tried to tell this story from all technical aspects. We made the movie 'Asvins' with good team support. Without a doubt, this is a movie that needs to be experienced in the theater," he said.

 

Actress Vimala Raman said, "Asvins is Tarun's dream, Special thanks to B.V.S.N.Prasad garu and Bapineedu garu for making this possible. Tarun wanted to try something different, thus he made the film "Asvins." Vasant Ravi is an actor that is dedicated, passionate, and hardworking. Even though it was minus 3 degrees outside, we all worked hard to complete the film. A horror film requires a lot of unique music. Vijay Siddharth, our music director, provided next-level music. Vasant Ravi said that ``Asvins' is a special movie for me. In Tamil I have done Taramani and Rocky films. The sound design in 'Asvin's' film is one of a kind.
