2018 Movie has become a new Industry hit in Kerala and it crossed massive 160 crores collections in Mollywood. The film which is still creating sensation in own state, was released in Telugu recently by Passionate Producer Bunny Vas.

The early wave of appreciation has created a strong momentum for the film and it collected solid numbers in 6 days with terrific word of mouth from audience.

Telugu audience who support content rich films are supporting this film which is based on devastating Kerala floods in 2018. Today to thank Telugu audience makers arranged a grand Thank You Meet. Ace producer Allu Aravind garu, director Chandoo Mondeti attended the event.

Allu Arvind Garu thanked Telugu Audience for making this film a blockbuster in Telugu too. He said "I saw this movie the night after I returned from the United States. I assumed that jet lag would have an impact on my experience. However, when the second half began, the Director transported me to the Kerala floods, making me to experience the pain, hope and everything. There are no fights, dances and not a conventional story but still it became biggest blockbuster.

"After watching this movie, for the first time, I got angry on rain," Chandoo Mondeti said at the Thank You Meet.

Allu Aravind answered most asked question about films OTT debut during Q&A session. He said "We requested 2018 Movie original producers to request OTT for the film's debut delay. After watching the reception and response, they are also trying to postpone the OTT debut of film by two weeks."
