A regular story attempted umpteen number of times by many filmmakers in different languages in the past. The male protagonist of the film, Karthik (Vinay, a newcomer) is a Civil engineer by profession. He travels to Australia to finish off a project assigned to him. In the flight to Australia he meets a beautiful girl Deepika (Taneesha, Kajol's kid sister) and they become good friends. The rest of the movie was shot in the beautiful locales of Australia. This was just the set-up. The real story begins here in a flashback mode. Karthik is a cool dude with an attitude of happy-go-lucky of generation next. During that uncertain phase of his life, he meets a girl, Jhansi (Sada) and falls in love with her. Love at first sight for him. One day he proposes to her and as expected gets a positive response. The real struggle begins here for our Romeo. Jhansi is a completely different kind of person who is very short tempered, stubborn and extremely possessive about Karthik. She cannot tolerate him talking to or about any other girl in her presence. Deeply in love with her Karthik agrees to do almost everything Jhansi says. He is so mad in love that he can't see his lady love feeling a wee bit hurt even at the expense of his feelings. There enters a new character into their life, Raju Sundaram, a close friend of Karthik. He as a matter of fact tells Jhansi that he and Karthik spent with many girls in the past. Stunned with what she heard, she suddenly comes to a jolt in the car and moves away. It's Karthik's birthday the next day. A pretty girl comes to him and asks him to join her in the restaurant. Depressed Karthik readily accepts her offer and accompanies her to the restaurant only to find out that this girl was indeed engaged by Jhansi. Jhansi gets irritated by this and scolds him. She immediately leave for Australia leaving visibly disappointed Karthik alone. This is the interval point. The rest of the story after the interval moves in a predictable manner on how Jhansi realizes her mistakes and wants to reunite with Karthik. Deepika, a subordinate to Jhansi at work tells Jhansi that she is in love with Karthik and later part of the movie is all about whom did Karthik marry and who is left alone between the two of the girls.

Analysis :

Vinay: This guy looking very cool and got a good screen presence too. He did good job. He is sure to win a few hearts with this movie, at least in urban places like Chennai and Hyderabad. Voice rendered for him is not that good. His costumes are first rate. Only area he need to work hard is his body language. Sada: She did gave a nice performance. Her's was a well etched out character. She is looking slightly aged than the hero. She is a wrong cast by the director nevertheless looks pretty and her costumes are cool, for a change. Is this the same girl who did a a village belle in Jayam? She gave a balanced performance.

TeluguOne Perspective :

With no songs, this movie is safely avoidable with no other thoughts. Songs are the only saving graces of the film along with an unpredictable climax. Songs are nice on the ear and also shot well. There are some episodes filled with good humor by Raju Sundaram. Negatives of this movie are, old story, no tight screenplay, missing entertainment in the second half. You can safely stay away from this movie in movie halls.
