Rishi is a mechanical engineer and owns an automobile workshop. He has invented something new and is keen to take it to the world. His principles and upright nature is enough to make Anu Mehta fall head over heels for him. Rishi reciprocates Anu's love and they plan to get married. The hitch is Rishi's profession, which has no chance of getting the approval of her brother Vinod Kumar. Anu prods Rishi to market his invention and rise in life so that her brother would give consent to their marriage without any hesitation. Rishi gets the nod from a multi national company to go ahead with his invention project. So Rishi and Anu are cloud nine as their marriage is a possibility now. But fate, or should we say the director has other plans.Nikhita is the sister of a ruthless contractor, Sai Kumar. Rishi arranges a success party of his project getting the approval of a MNC. He invites all his old classmates. Nikhita arrives at the party and Rishi says to her "I love you".
