Analysis :
Ravi Teja's strength is his spontaneity in action (behavioral action without any drama) and excellent dialogue delivery with a tinge of accent. In Idiot, Poori Jagannath used all the talent of Ravi Teja in right direction to the maximum result. Ravi Teja is simply the best in this film. He delivered his best performance so far in 'Manasichi Choodu' and with this film he outsmarted his earlier performance. The 'care-a-damn' attitude of the hero role got elevated and has the shades of heroism performed by Chiranjeevi in Gang Leader and Pawan Kalyan in Badri.Rakshita is cute and suited the role to the tee. In some of the angles, she resembles Ramu's find Anthra Mali. The voice that dubbed her role is also sweet. Prakash Raj performed the role of obsessive father and villain of Idiot. He did well. His introduction scene is pretty good.Ali's cameo in the second half is very good. Jeeva's comedy-oriented SI role is good. After a long gap, Kota got a full-length role that projects the two-panged facets of a sincere Head constable and helpless middle-class father. Kota did very well.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Idiot film is not an idiotic film. It's just an attempt to get back the negative-titles like Donga, Killer, Kiratakudu etc to the glory. The first half of the film is cool and second half is also equally good. This film has got class and mass elements in equal proportions. The confrontation scenes between Prakash Raj and Ravi Teja are excellent. Idiot is a much-deserved break for Poori Jagannath as the producer. Idiot is a good film to watch for everybody.
