Talking about teenage love and relationships that form at a tender age, many movies have been made in Telugu Cinema. Now, Ankith Koyya, who made a good impression with his performances in films like AAY, Bachchala Malli, and others, played leading role in Beauty. Nilakhi Patra is debuting in Telugu with the movie. Let's discuss about the film in detail.
Plot:
Narayana (Naresh), a cab driver in Vizag, loves his daughter, Alekhya (Nilaki Patra) and makes her wish as his command. He tries to move clouds for her and does anything for her. Her mother (Vasuki) tries to discipline her but Alekhya acts on her own as Narayana doesn't like to scold her.
She falls in love with Arjun (Ankit Koyya) and their relationship gets stronger with each day. One day, Alekhya invites Arjun to her house and gets caught to her neighbor. Later, she gets caught chatting with Arjun to her mother. What she does after that? Will Narayana be able to change her mind? Watch the movie to know more.
Analysis :
Ankith Koyya is good in the role and his performance is apt. But his dialogue delivery needs a little bit more refinement as at places he is unable to match the intensity in his body language. Nilakhi Patra looked very cute and she delivered a good performance. Her character did require her to be clingy and she did not let the meter go into cringe zone. Naresh delivered yet another fine performance and Vasuki did not have much to do.
Screenplay of the film engages us throughout from the start to finish. It concentrates on a young girl who is loved by her parents and thinks about only her aspirations. She thinks everyone around her are like her parents but she gets to realise how hard it is in life without their support. But the way, narrative unfolds her struggle between love and parents, is treated in an engaging fashion.
Technically, the movie delivers on visual front and music as well. Director Vardhan has masterfully explored the different relationships around the girl in a beautiful manner. The twists and turns in the second hour dive deep into the relationship of father and daughter. Each frame enhaces drama but the predictibility does drop the intensity. As such thrillers have been common it feels slightly routine but it delivers a decent cinematic experience.
TeluguOne Perspective :
The movie engages with its twists and it is a decent thriller.
