Brindavan Apartment in Hyderabad is the venue. There are five leading pairs in the building. They are 1) Kondavalasa-Telengana Sakuntala 2) Krishna Bhagwan-Surekha Vani 3) Venu Madhav- Geetha Singh 4) Brahmanandam-Abhinaya Sree & 5) Sivaji-Suhasini. While the ladies are housewives and working women, their husbands simply depend on them and don the roles as Apartment's Association leaders.Kondavalasa using a call bell always pesters his wife umpteen number of times. Krishna Bhagwan is fit for nothing guy who simply watches TV while his wife works with a TV channel. Venu Madhav represents the ego of male by humiliating his wife, who is a working woman. Brahmanandam, who married Abhinyasree by falling to her beauty, later becomes a drunkard and supports who ever pour liquor. The fifth pair is an ideal one. Sivaji and Suhasini are amicable to each other and love their children and bring them up with responsibility.Such being the case, one day Shakeela comes to the apartment to visit Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, a scholar. The eyes of all the four men are fixed on Shakeela. It hurts the feelings of their wives. With the help of Kovai Sarala (the maid of the apartment), the ladies contest the society elections and win the same. Their agenda: Declaration of holiday for women on Sunday; and putting a checkmate to the jalsa trips of erring husbands. When it is put under implementation, the males are worst hit. They resort to give divorce to their ladies. Prakash Raj (Lawyer) and the upright couple (Sivaji and Suhasini) become crucial at the court. Whether the ladies really get holiday on Sundays? It forms the crux of the movie. Watch it for yourself.

Analysis :

Story by Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao is completely partial towards women. At the same time, it is conceived taking into account the reality surrounding the womenfolk. The message is clear. Women are not separate group in a family. They are one and the same with their spouses. Only when cohesion with their ideologies is charted out that a family would become successful.Screenplay and direction by Raja Vannem Reddy is interesting and viewed with precision. The first half is completely dominated with lighter scenes and comedy vein, but coming to the second half, there is responsibility factor touching the message part. To give strength to this theme, sentiment is added. The result is good entertainment with no boredom.Music by Vandemataram Srinivas is good. The only song with message: Devathavu Neevani – Mathru Devathavu Neevani – is good to hear and watch on the screen.Dialogues by Rajendra Kumar are adequate. Comedy is the lifeline of the movie.However, certain scenes defy logic. But going by the message, it can not stand before judgment.

Telengana Sakuntala did highlight acting and dominates the screen. At the same time, Kondavalasa did his best with ample footage as a mischievous husband.Kovai Sarala played very energetic role and brings much comedy relief from start to finish.Sivaji and Suhasini appear in shorter lengths, but became very important to run the story further.Shakeela's role is impressive and apt to the twists and turns in the story.Ali appears as police inspector Sharuk Khan and it's good to watch.Raghu Babu appears as a drunkard husband who beats up his wife Kovai Sarala.Prakash Raj's role at the climax is very nice and pumps in additional strength to the entertainment.All the other characters have finished their roles with perfection.
