Namo Venkatesa

Description - Mr. Ramana is a worried lot because he has remained 'pellikani Prasadu' all along.  Let alone entering into a wed lock, he is not even finding bride matches, which his father Chandra Mohan explains away with an analogy.  A follower of horoscope, he understands that he should get married in a month's time or he will remain a bachelor forever.  Shift to Paris, where he arrives to perform his art of ventriloquism.  Enter Prasad (Brahmanandam), who decides to play a mind game with Ramana by making him believe that his daughter-in-law Trisha loves him.  Ramana builds castles in the air, but Trisha's conscience grows stricken.  Though she does not like fooling around the good-hearted, clean-minded Ramana, circumstances compel her to do so. Kushi Kushiga

Kushi Kushiga V Surya Prakash or SP (Jagapathi Babu) is a woman hater and a chronic bachelor. His hatred towards women in general is told in a flashback that happened when he was a teenager. He had a childhood sweetheart Bhavani (Ramya Krishnan) to whom his marriage was fixed. But in a turn of events an uncle of Bhavani conspires and kills her father and the blame is put on Surya Prakash’s father. Bhavani takes revenge on SP by taking over all his wealth and she later marries the same uncle’s son. Years later SP become a business tycoon and sponsor of his half sister Sandhya (Nikitha). She is the apple of SP’s eye and he puts her up in a house near by as a paying guest. Satyabhama (Sangeetha) a smart girl falls hook line and sinker for SP. Sreekumar (Venu), son of SP's mentor is a notorious womaniser who comes to stay with SP and he is in love with Sandhya. Meanwhile Bhavani and her father come with SP’s half brother Shekar (Bhanu Chander), which creates the twist in the climax. Later SP comes to know that Satyabhama is Bhavani’s sister and her father who had trapped SP is out to get his revenge. First half of the film is full of comedy which peters out to be a sentimental drama. Ramya Krishna has come out with an excellent portrayal as Bhavani reminding us of Neelambari of Padayappa. She is excellent. Jagapathy Babu and Venu have done full justice to their roles. Sangeetha and Nikitha are there for glamour. The songs tuned by S.A.Rajkumar are not very impressive.
