Are cookies your favorite? Do you like #baking? Then this Christmas you must surely try these ginger cookies. The cookie batter is absolutely easy to make and these ginger cookies are extremely healthy. To know the detailed procedure, watch the video.  Ingredients: Butter - 200 Caster Sugar - 125 grams Flour – 250 grams 2 spoons – Ginger Powder ½ spoon – Cinnamon (Optional) Cling Wrap – To wrap and refrigerate the Dough Butter Paper Mold – For making cookies   Recipe in English: In a bowl take butter but make sure that it is at room temperature. Add caster sugar to butter, mix well till it becomes soft & fluffy. Once the mixture becomes very soft, add the flour, ginger powder, cinnamon powder and mix well. Transfer the entire mixture to the flat surface so that, we can mix it well to form a dough. (Make sure the flat surface or the platform where you transfer the mixture is clean and your hands are also clean.) Once the dough is ready, take it in a cling wrap and refrigerate it for 2 hours. Once the dough is set in the freezer, take it in a butter paper spread it evenly (approx. ½ inch thickness) and use the molds to cut into attractive shapes. Arrange these cookies in a tray and bake them at 170 C for 15 – 20 minutes. Atla Tadi Nomu is celebrated with great enthusiasm in various parts of Telugu speaking states. On this day, early in the morning, ladies have rice with gongura pachadi and later on fast the entire day till moon rise. Later offer prayers to Goddess Gauri and later break the fast with dosas or attlu. To know how to prepare #GonguraPachadi watch our video.   Ingredients: Gongura Leaves Dry Red Chillis Green Chillis Garlic Pods Jeera Methi Tamarind Daniya Salt Turmeric Oil Tempering Seeds               Recipe In English: Firstly, wash gongura leaves and let them dry. In a pan, add oil heat it and add jeera, methi, dry red chillis, green chillis and saute well. Take them on a pan separately. Now in the same pan add a little more oil, add gongura leaves and salute them well. You will notice that, as the leaves cook, they shrink and become very less in quantity. Also add garlic pods and let them cook well. The fragrance says that the leaves along with garlic pods have cooked well. Now add the required salt and turmeric and saute well. Now add a little tamarind and saute again. (Though we know that the gongura leaves are sour, we add tamarind since the sourness will not be sufficient while having with rice) Add the gongura mixture and the clilli mixer – Grind them coarsely. Lastly garnish with tempering seeds. Daddojanam, thayir sadam, bagala bath are the other South Indian names for this traditional tempered curd rice. Though everyone knows the standard procedure of making curd rice, today we will be sharing, how to make curd rice in temple style for naivedhyam. This is commonly made during Dasara Navaratri as an offering to Goddess Durga. #DeviNavaratrulu2018 #Dasara2018 #TeluguOneFoodVideos Ingredients : Rice or Beeyam Tempering Seeds or Popu Ginjalu Ghee or neyyi Salt or Uppu Curd or Perugu Curry Leaves or Karuvepaku Jeera Pomegranate or Danimma Ginjelu Ginger or Allum Green Chilli or Pachi Mirchi Kothmir Pepper or Miriyalu Hing or Higuva Method in English :  Wash a cup of rice. Soft cook it with 3 cups of water in a pressure cooker for 3 4 whistles. (We generally add 2 cups of water for a cup of rice – but since we are doing curd rice we need to add 3 cups of rice). Empty the rice in a bowl and wait till the rice cools down. Later add curd and mix well. Also add half cup of milk to enhance taste. Add salt, kothmir, green chillis and mix Heat oil or ghee in a pan – add tempering seeds along with pepper powder, ginger and hing and empty into the curd rice bowl and mix well. Ingredients: 1 ½ cup whole wheat flour 3 spoon custard powder Pinch of salt ½ spoon Baking Soda 1 spoon Baking Powder 100 gms Cooking Butter 400ml Condensed Milk ¼ cup tutti fruity 1 ¼ cup milk or butter milk Pineapple emulsion   Recipe in English: In a bowl take wheat flour, custard powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder. Seeve all these ingredients 2 to 3 times to filter out impurities. In other bowl, take unsalted butter and beat it for 2 3 mins. To this add condensed milk and beat it again till they mix well. Later add the pine apple essence. Mix them well. Now preheat the oven at 160 degrees for 10 mins. And later grease the baking tin with butter and sprinkle with some flour. Now mix the dry flour with liquid batter. Beat them well. Add buttermilk and repeat the process of beating. Lastly add Tutti Frutti to the mixture and beat it again. Lets learn how to make these nutritious Parathas.   Ingredients: Methi Leaves or Mentu Aaku Coriander Leaves or Kothmira Wheat Flour or Godumma Pindi  Gram Flour or Senega Pindi Vamu Cumin Seeds or Jeera Curd or Perugu Chilli Powder or Karam Podi Green Chilli or Pachi Mirchi Ginger or Allum Salt or Uppu   Recipe in English: Finely chop methi leaves & kothimir & keep them aside. In a bowl take finely chopped methi leaves and kothmir. To this add 1 cup wheat flour and 2 spoons besan, salt to taste, vamu, jeera, ginger – green chilli paste, red chilli powder, 2 spoons curd, finely chopped garlic garlic(optional) Add little water & Mix these ingredients to form a dough. While adding water be very careful as the dough consistency may become very thin if excess water is added. Now make small balls and flatten them to make yummy parathas.
