Celebrity conversations become memorable when they move beyond film promotions to reveal the friendships, struggles and personal experiences behind familiar public figures. That is the space Jayammu Nischayammu Raa with Jagapathi explores in its second season. Hosted by Jagapathi Babu, the Zee Telugu talk show brings leading personalities from the Telugu film industry into a relaxed setting where nostalgia, candid revelations and spontaneous humour take centre stage.
The latest episode brings together acclaimed director Trivikram Srinivas, popular actor Sunil and music director S.S. Thaman. The newly released promo offers glimpses of an interaction that moves between personal memories and the creative relationships shaping Telugu cinema, feeling less like a conventional celebrity interview and more like a gathering of familiar personalities sharing stories beyond the spotlight.
At the heart of the episode is the enduring friendship between Trivikram and Sunil. Their recollections of sharing a flat in Panjagutta during their early days offer a glimpse into a period before both established themselves in the Telugu film industry. These memories bring a personal dimension to their journeys, reminding audiences that behind professional achievements lie years of companionship, ambition and shared experiences.
The conversation also finds room for humour when Jagapathi Babu steers the discussion towards Trivikram’s marriage. Sunil’s playful description of it as an “arranged-plus-love” marriage adds to the easygoing atmosphere, demonstrating how familiar friendships can produce moments that scripted interactions rarely replicate. This balance between personal revelations and light-hearted banter gives the format its appeal.
The arrival of S.S. Thaman introduces another dimension, shifting attention towards the creative pressures behind filmmaking. His account of the expectations surrounding the first song in a Trivikram film offers an entertaining glimpse into the relationship between a director and his composer. The exchange highlights the pressure to deliver something memorable when expectations are high.
With Trivikram and Sunil revisiting their early years, Thaman sharing insights into the creative process and Jagapathi Babu guiding the conversation, the upcoming episode brings together nostalgia, industry anecdotes and effortless humour. It offers audiences an opportunity to see celebrated personalities in a more personal light, making the conversation itself the central attraction.
For ZEE5, the show also offers an opportunity to deepen engagement with Telugu audiences through entertainment rooted in the region’s cinematic culture. By extending celebrity conversations beyond the screen, the platform adds another dimension to its Telugu content offering, complementing films and series with a format built around personalities, relationships and shared cultural familiarity. The upcoming episode of Jayammu Nischayammu Raa – Season 2 will premiere on ZEE5 this Friday, followed by its television broadcast on Zee Telugu this Sunday.
