Sekhar Master expresses disappointment over Dabidi Dibidi backlash

on May 3, 2025

Sekhar Master is one of the most popular choreographers in Indian Cinema. Starting with Telugu Cinema, he could grab eyeballs of Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada Industry heroes to choreography their songs. With such popularity there will be side effects too and he has been facing them from past one year.

Starting with his choreography for Ravi Teja's Mr. Bachchan song, Sitar, he has been facing trolls, backlash and hatred for his choreography. His choreography for NBK's Dabidi Dibidi song has become even more controversial Nation wide. Urvashi Rautela being spanked on back by NBK as part of steps became troll material.

Also, his extra raunchy choreography for Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 Feelings song and later his choreography for Robinhood's Adi dha Surprisu became controversial. Ketika Sharma's step had to be edited for censor approval. Reacting to them in a recent interaction, the choreographer expressed disappointment about being targeted.

He stated that he did not do anything out of his own but they have been accepted by the actors and filmmakers while performing and executing. So, he stated that he felt like unnecessarily targeted heavily. He also stated that he felt bad for it but he did whatever his directors and actors have been comfortable to do.

Well, without the acceptance of film team, mainly director and star, steps cannot be okayed and performed. So, it does seem like only one person cannot be blamed for everything. He is currently working as judge for several contests while continuing to choreograph big songs.
