Ritika Nayak is playing leading lady inSundeep Kishan’s Powerpeta, with the makers introducing her as Padamataveeti Janaki through a first-look poster released on her birthday. Dressed in a traditional half-saree, Ritika appears graceful and composed, hinting at a character deeply connected to the film’s rustic setting.

She has gone complete glamorous too having two to three sequences where she is playing in rain, comes out completely drenched in a shirt. Looks like the actress is showcasing the more glam side of her, not just sticking to the regular roles.

Following the success of Mirai and Korean Kanakaraju, Ritika has emerged as a promising choice for Telugu filmmakers. Her entry into Powerpeta brings another interesting dimension to the project, which brings Sundeep Kishan and director Krishna Chaitanya together for an action drama.

With love, honour and politics at its core, the film promises a narrative driven by intense conflicts and strong character dynamics. The makers are mounting it on a grand scale, with Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy producing the project. Mani Sharma is composing the music. The shoot is progressing rapidly, with 60% of the filming completed. The team is expected to announce further details about the film in the coming days.
