Prakash Raj publicly stated that they are not slaves to blindly follow leaders and sheep. He further triggered controversy by keeping a harsh tone in his wording to change their thought process. Nagababu supporting Pawan Kalyan, AP Deputy CM and Janasena party leader, had posted a message on X, asking cadre to follow leader.
He said, “A leader’s word is final. None have seen devils and demons in his path, he alone knows what is right and what is wrong. Shut your doubts, silence your tongue, and follow the leader without questions.” The post quickly attracted attention and mixed reactions from users.
Responding directly, Prakash Raj questioned the idea of absolute obedience and pushed back strongly against the message. In his reply, he wrote, “What do you mean by ‘shut your doubts, silence your tongue and follow the leader without questions’? We are not sheep. We are not here to live a slave’s life.”
He further asked Nagababu not to issue threats and argued that questioning leadership is a democratic right. Prakash Raj added that any leader — including someone who believes he alone is the leader — has a responsibility to answer questions. Ending his response with his familiar phrase #JustAsking, Prakash Raj’s post has once again opened debate online around leadership, criticism and accountability in public life.
