Director Harish Shankar has praised the making of Rudravanam PS, calling its cinematography, editing and performances impressive. Speaking at the grand pre-release event of the seven-episode Telugu crime thriller, he expressed confidence in director Sasidhar Munnangi's work. The series premieres on ZEE5 Telugu on October 30.

Starring Naresh Agastya as SI Sivakumar, Rudravanam PS follows an investigation that begins with a headless corpse and a missing man, leading to a web of secrets and suspicion. Written by Taj Syed, the series features an ensemble cast including Banerjee, Raja Ravindra and Shravani Reddy.

Harish Shankar revealed that producer Vivek Kuchibhotla showed him the content on a laptop, and he was impressed by the photography, editing and performances. He praised Shashi's craftsmanship and noted that the cinematography had the quality of a big-screen production. He also appreciated the young technical team, particularly the cinematographer, who is just 32 years old.

Speaking about opportunities in the OTT space, Harish said aspiring filmmakers no longer need to depend solely on cinema to learn their craft. Platforms such as YouTube, OTT and satellite television offer avenues to showcase talent, and good content can reach audiences regardless of its format.

The event also saw the cast and crew share their experiences. Naresh Agastya spoke about his long association with ZEE and praised the team's efforts, while senior actor Banerjee expressed confidence in the series after watching its first two episodes. Directed by Sasidhar Munnangi and produced by Ramesh Puppala, Vivek Kuchibhotla and Dr. Suryakanthi, the series is set to be a big hit.
