A chance encounter, a mysterious woman and a secret that refuses to stay buried. Tamil film - Immortal explores the darker side of attraction as an ordinary connection turns into a terrifying mystery. Blending romance, mystery and supernatural horror, Immortal, written and directed by debutant Mariyappan Chinna premieres on October 30, 2026, on Sony LIV in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Set in present-day Chennai, Immortal follows Magi (played by G. V. Prakash Kumar), a printing press worker looking for an affordable place to stay. He meets Sindhu (played by Kayadu Lohar), a mysterious woman who offers him a room in her luxurious apartment at a surprisingly low rent. What seems like a lucky break soon turns unsettling as strange events draw Magi deeper into Sindhu’s world, leading him to a mystery that dates back much further than he imagined.

G. V. Prakash Kumar said, Magi is a very relatable guy who finds himself in a situation he never expected. What I enjoyed about the character is that he keeps discovering things along with the audience. There is a sense of curiosity, fear and uncertainty running through his journey, and that made the role exciting for me. I am happy that audiences can now experience Immortal on Sony LIV and discover the mystery for themselves.

Along with G. V. Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar, the film features T. M. Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Aaditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tsamchoe and Sunita Shresthain prominent roles. Immortal premieres on October 30, 2026, only on Sony LIV.
