Gopichand’s upcoming action drama Singa has completed 50% of its shoot, with the makers unveiling a new poster featuring the actor in a fierce soldier avatar. Holding a long spear (ET), Gopichand looks intense in a period costume, offering another glimpse into the film’s world after the aggressive first look released on his birthday.

Directed by renowned action choreographer Vvenkat, Singa marks his directorial debut. The film features Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar as the female lead, marking her Tollywood debut, while Sam CS is composing the music.

The recently completed schedule was filmed on specially constructed sets recreating a surreal forest environment. The team is now preparing for the next phase of production, scheduled to begin in December, with even larger sets being developed for the upcoming shoot.
