Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is making a unique musical attempt for his acting debut, Yellamma. In a first-of-its-kind effort in Indian cinema, the composer brought together 100 traditional folk rhythm artists from different parts of India and recorded them at the same time for the film's title track.

DSP aims to capture the raw energy and distinct cultural essence of India's folk music through this massive musical collaboration. Bringing artists representing diverse folk traditions under one roof, the recording is expected to give the Yellamma theme song a distinctive sound and authentic folk flavour. The much-awaited title song, which will also mark the film's first single, is set to be released soon.

Directed by Venu Yeldandi, who earned National Award recognition for Balagam, Yellamma is being produced by Dil Raju and Shirish on a lavish scale. The film's shoot is progressing at a brisk pace, with the makers aiming for a worldwide release on 5th March, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
