Vishwak Sen talked to TeluguOne about Cult, his upcoming slasher action film. Talking about the film, he stated that "Indian films never explored slasher film genre and we are trying to give one of the best one and introduce this genre." He further clarified that HIT 3 and Cult have no similarities.
He said, "HIT 3 and Cult might have similar premise but our film is not the same. We started writing from past 4 years and completed scripting with Tharun Bhascker last year. So, I wanted to bring my vision with giving any chance to falter as I had back-to-back flops, previously."
Vishwak drew parallels with his career beginning days during the release of Falaknuma Das. He stated that he directed the movie and then Ee Nagaraniki Emayyindi released. Now, also, his directorial Cult and ENE Repeat are releasing back-to-back. So, he anticipated that the results will also repeat giving him a big comeback.

Cult is produced by Sandeep Kakarala and Vishwak clarified that he is not clashing with Aadarsha Kutumbam, as Venkatesh supported him from the beginning. He stated that he cannot change the release date, 30th October as the works in later stage and hoped for both films to be big hits.
He confirmed that he has decided to transform his looks and working daily in gym for two hours without missing. Vishwak Sen stated that he is open to be part of multi-starrers but cannot confirm one yet. He confirmed that after ENE Repeat, Legacy, he has three films going on floors with one rom-com for Yuvasudha Arts.
