Marvel Studios has announced that Avengers: Doomsday will arrive in Indian theatres on December 17, 2026, a day before its US release. Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans revealed the update through a special Diwali video message, greeting Indian fans with “Namaste India” and extending their festive wishes.

The announcement has added to the anticipation surrounding Marvel's next major superhero spectacle. In their message, the actors connected the festive occasion with the film's arrival, giving Indian fans an early opportunity to witness the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Doomsday marks Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the franchise in a strikingly different role. After playing Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, across several Marvel films, he will portray the iconic villain Doctor Doom.
