Director Adhik Ravichandran has made it clear that he does not want to repeat the Good Bad Ugly formula in his next film with Ajith Kumar, Daredevil. In a recent interview, he said the earlier film's approach was a one-time experience and would not work again if repeated. He stressed that Daredevil would be a completely different film, designed as a commercial entertainer with all emotions in the right balance.

Adhik revealed that Daredevil was actually the story he had initially planned to make with Ajith. However, due to time and budget constraints, the team developed a different proposition, which eventually became Good Bad Ugly. He described that film as a fan tribute to Ajith, but said the upcoming project would not follow the same template. The director wants Daredevil to appeal to a wider audience rather than rely on the fan-service approach of their previous collaboration.

Adhik also confirmed that Sreeleela is part of the film, dismissing speculation around Kayadu Lohar's involvement. He praised producer Shalini Ajith's understanding of narrative, story and screenplay, admitting that he was surprised by how eloquently she expressed her views on these aspects.

The film's shoot will begin at 8:05 AM on November 12 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, after the Diwali break. The Indian portions will be shot continuously on specially built sets, with additional schedules planned abroad. Daredevil also stars Prabhu, Parthiban and Sunil, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
