Hanuman Ansh is now set for a Telugu release on October 9, putting it directly against Trivikram Srinivas’ upcoming film AK 47. The clash is particularly interesting because Trivikram was initially associated with the Telugu release of Hanuman Ansh as its presenter.
Trivikram’s association with the film ended after differences over the Telugu release plans, following which Hombale Films stepped in and acquired the Telugu rights. The film, which was originally planned for a September release, was later pushed to October 9.

The Hindi version of Hanuman Ansh has already turned out to be a major success, collecting Rs.400 crores, creating strong interest around its Telugu release. The film’s unexpected box-office performance has also given the dubbed version a market of its own.

Interestingly, the film will now arrive on the same day as Trivikram’s AK 47, starring Venkatesh. With Trivikram having initially been attached to Hanuman Ansh and later moving ahead with his own film, the box office clash has naturally become a talking point in the Telugu film industry.
