Vishwak Sen’s upcoming slasher actioner Cult is gearing up for its theatrical release tomorrow, with the actor promising a wild, experimental action experience. The film’s pre-release event was cancelled due to Cyclone Arnab’s impact on the Telugu states, prompting the team to interact with the press instead.

Vishwak Sen revealed that he watched the final copy again after completing the remaining work and expressed satisfaction with the output. He said the team made the film exactly as envisioned, without following a conventional commercial formula or worrying about the budget and logistics.

Highlighting its experimental narrative and aesthetically shot single-take sequences, he said Cult would offer a never-before-seen experience for action lovers. He also cautioned that the film’s wild and loud treatment makes it unsuitable for children and the weak-hearted.

The actor credited producer Sandeep Kakarala for backing his vision and investing in the project without hesitation. He also praised the ensemble cast, including leading lady Gayathri Baradwaj, for their performances. Vishwak further credited composer Ravi Basrur with 51% of the film’s impact, stating that his music elevates the action sequences.

Addressing concerns over the film’s graphic violence, Vishwak clarified that the action was designed with an aesthetic approach rather than merely to showcase gore. Confident about the final output, he declared that Cult would become a cult film in Indian cinema. The film is set to hit theatres tomorrow, with advance bookings reportedly gaining traction across ticketing platforms.
