Vidaamuyarchi set to create record in TN

Vidaamuyarchi starring Ajith Kumar has shocked many trade experts as the movie buzz was remarkably low even among hardcore fans. The movie has been a long delayed project and with postponement from Pongal race, fans felt really hurt. But the movie is set to create an opening day record in Tamil Nadu.

Going into the details, Ajith Kumar has been revered in Tamil film circles as "King of Openings" and he has proven it once again with this film. With such a low buzz film, he is set to create a record opening crossing 30 crores gross threshold on Day one itself. This is a huge indication of star power that the actor possesses.

Also, the movie is tracking to record all-time highest opening for Ajith in North America and it crossed 1 Million in Malaysia already. On top of it all, the movie is expected to create a new record for any Ajith film in Overseas territories. Even Kerala and Karnataka bookings are also good for the film.

But the lack of any promotional activity and Thandel release on the next day, has effected the movie badly in Telugu States. A highly positive word of mouth is required for the film to recover good amounts in Telugu States. Magizh Thirumeni directed the film with Lyca Productions producing it.

Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra are playing prominent roles in the film and Anirudh Ravichander is composing music. Swadeeka song from the album has gone viral.
