Shocking Price For Spyder Tamil Rights

Superstar Mahesh Babu's previous film Srimanthudu was released in Tamil and the film had made decent business in Chennai and few other A class centers in Tamil Nadu. Mahesh Babu is now making his Tamil debut with upcoming bilingual film Spyder which is directed by popular Tamil director AR Murugadoss.

Lyca Productions has acquired Spyder Tamil Nadu and overseas rights by shelling out whopping Rs 25 crores. This is second biggest deal for a Telugu film after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2. Except for few areas, Spyder business is done for most of the territories.

Interim, Spyder is nearing completion. The film unit is canning even songs in both the languages- Telugu and Tamil. While second teaser of the film is likely to release on August 9th for Mahesh Babu's birthday, the movie will hit the screens on September 27th.
