King of Entertainment Sree Vishnu, after a flop like Swag, has decided to try another Samajavaragamana type of hilarious comedy, #Single. The movie released with good expectations after a good trailer and teaser. Ketika Sharma and Ivana are playing leading lady roles and let's discuss about the movie.
Plot:
Vijay (Sree Vishnu) worries about remaining as single while his friend Aravind (Vennela Kishore) commits with Gayatri. He notices Poorva (Ketika Sharma) in the metro and then starts following her. But Harini (Ivana) falls for him and starts to do the same like how Vijay stalks Poorva. With whom will Vijay settle down with? Watch the movie to know more.
Analysis:
Sree Vishnu tried his best to make every scene entertaining with his unique timing. His performance in few scenes is too over-the-top but in many scenes he delivered his best. His performance is the highlight of this film and in emotional scenes he did his best.
Ketika Sharma and Ivana looked cute in this film and their performances are good too. Especially, Ivana did her best as love sicken puppy. Ketika did a refreshing character from her routine and gave her best. Vennela Kishore performed at his best and pulled off many jokes.
Writing wise the movie could have been much better from just format jokes. The premise could have yielded hilarious moments like OK OK and Siva Manasulo Shakti. But such potential has been wasted with template writing. Dialogues did salvage situation in a much better way in many scenes.
While the story looks more like an web episode worth still the director keeps us engaged throughout with simple moments. On the whole, the movie is a good timepass comedy flick which we can watch one time without much expectations.
Bottomline:
A light-hearted timepass comedy flick.
Rating: 2.75/5
