Sports icons are the ones who have maximum fans after cinema celebrities. The likes of Sachin, Dhoni, Kohli, Sania Mirza, Jwala Gutta to prove it. Another such hailed starlet is Saina Nehwal, the proud singles badminton player of our country from very own Hyderabad.
Success of films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom has now steered filmmakers to make a film on Saina Nehwal too, but the news never got true. Finally all the decks are cleared as the rights for making the biopic have finally been taken. Acclaimed filmmaker Amole Gupte will both write and direct this film on Saina Nehwal.
Recently Amole met Saina and her family in Hyderabad to not some details of her life's journey. He is famous for his directorial ventures like Stanley Ka Dabba and Hawa Hawaai.
