The makers of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash starrer Ramayana have announced a grand pre-release event for the Telugu version in Hyderabad on October 19. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, Ravi Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh are expected to attend the event.

The announcement comes a day after the team unveiled the film’s latest trailer at a grand event in Bengaluru. The trailer has drawn attention for its visual effects, scale and performances, further building anticipation for the mythological epic. DNEG is handling the film’s visual effects, with the makers aiming to present the story of Lord Ram to audiences across the world.

Produced by Namit Malhotra, with Yash also associated with the ambitious project, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, while Yash plays Ravana. The film has also attracted attention for bringing together Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, who are composing the music. Rahman’s song Ram has already generated a strong response following its release.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 5. With the Hyderabad event expected to bring together the principal cast and crew, the makers are looking to build further momentum for the film among Telugu audiences ahead of its release.
