The upcoming rural action drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has officially completed its shooting schedule. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is now set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4. The production concluded in Hyderabad with the filming of a special song composed by A.R. Rahman. 

With the principal photography wrapped, the makers are currently focusing on the ongoing post-production work to meet the scheduled early-June release date, on Toxic date. Releasing during this window allows the film to capitalize on the tail end of the summer holiday season across the country.  

Peddi features a strong supporting cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani. The technical crew includes cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Avinash Kolla. The project is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings serving as presenters.  

Positioned as a sports drama with action elements, the film is planned for a wide pan-India release. It will be distributed in all major South Indian languages as well as Hindi, aiming for a broad national audience.
