Benefit Shows Buried Hopes Of Bruce Lee

on Oct 17, 2015

Okay, Bruce Lee opened to below-average talk. But the opening day collections should be very high compared with the kind of release the film is having. That didn't happened. What could have been the reason?

Undoubtedly its the 'benefit shows' that played the spoilsport. As there are almost 200+ premiere shows hosted in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from night 1 am to morning 7 am, all those premieres have helped to spread that 'mixed talk' easily. Because people who purchase tickets with 100 rupees might not feel much bad if the film is slow, but those who invested 1000 rupees on a ticket are surely going to hurt. So, they spread the negative talk faster if the film is bad.

That way, below-average talk is spread about Ram Charan in no time, and the film's opening day share is 12-13 crores only, which is very low for a star of Ram Charan's stature.
