Producer SKN issues clarification about his comment

Producer Sreenivas Kumar Naidu aka SKN, has become hugely famous post his Baby movie success. In a recent event, he commented that he doesn't want to work with Telugu heroines anymore as it is better work with Mumbai actresses. He clarified that he joked at the event and it is a light-hearted comment.

He took to X, to issue clarification through a video. He stated, "Hi everyone, Namaste. I am one of the few producers who have introduced Many Telugu actresses to the industry. A lighthearted comment I made recently was misunderstood, leading to unnecessary headlines with incorrect meanings."

He further stated, "To clarify, I have introduced 8 talented individuals to the industry so far and am set to introduce 25 more Talented Telugu girls across 4-5 different crafts in cinema through my next and upcoming films. Supporting and promoting Telugu talent has always been my priority. So, Please do not spread any misinformation."

SKN in the video, listed out the number of actresses he introduced and going to introduce. He also stated that he started his career as a Telugu journalist and he got to know many talented women. So, he would continue introduce technicians and actresses further with a minimum of 25 members.

Well, his comments on the stage pointed out not just him but director Sai Rajesh also having some issue. Now, he is calling it as a lighthearted comment. Had he not been so serious and deadpan in his delivery, it might have helped us to understand better.
