
Actor Priyadarshi has kickstarted his next project in style as his new film was formally launched with a grand ceremony attended by several prominent names from the film industry. Produced jointly by Sukumar Writings and Bunny Vas Works, the film also introduces Telangana folk artist Naga Durga to cinema in the lead role.
The event drew notable filmmakers and producers including Allu Aravind, Sukumar, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Chandoo Mondeti, Karthik Dandu, Meher Ramesh and Damodhar Reddy, making the launch a celebratory gathering for the team.
As part of the traditional launch rituals, Dil Raju and Naveen Yerneni handed over the bound script to director Vamsi Reddy Dondapati and producer Bunny Vas. Allu Aravind marked the beginning with the clap for the opening shot while Sukumar inaugurated the shoot proceedings behind the camera.

The biggest surprise of the event came with the reveal of the film’s title. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj launched the motion poster and introduced the project as Idupu Kayitham, drawing an enthusiastic response from those present.
Rooted in Telangana culture and family emotions, the film is expected to package humour and drama in an accessible commercial format. With an interesting combination taking shape and a fresh face entering films, the project has managed to grab attention from its very first day.
