Prabhas appears to be leaving nothing to chance with Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. At the Ravi Teja's Irumudi trailer launch, Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Yerneni revealed that Prabhas has been closely monitoring the film’s shoot and is even visiting the sets on days when he has no scenes to film. According to Ravi, the actor spends time observing the proceedings and is determined to ensure that the film lives up to expectations.
The extra involvement comes at an interesting point in Prabhas’ career. His previous outing, The Raja Saab, ended up being a major disappointment commercially despite the star’s massive opening. The film reportedly grossed around Rs. 208 crore worldwide, making it a significant underperformer given its scale.
Interestingly, Fauzi has already been in production for a considerable period, but the team is now entering its final stretch. Prabhas is reportedly aiming to wrap his portions by September-end before moving on to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Recent reports suggest he is expected to dedicate more than 60 shooting days to the final Fauzi schedule.
With Fauzi scheduled for December 3, 2026, Prabhas seems keen to end the year on a positive note. The actor’s increased involvement suggests that he is treating this comeback with more caution after The Raja Saab.
