
Ram Charan's Peddi made a massive sound at the Bhopal "Peddi Ki Aawaz" event. Reportedly, one lakh people have attended the event making it most attended event for a Telugu hero crossing Pushpa 2 attendance in Patna. AR Rahman performed the songs at the event to wide crowd cheers and acknowledgement.
Later, he acknowledged that he is returning to the city after twelve years, and praised Bhopal's cleanliness. He commended the Telugu film industry's growing national ambition, mainly post Baahubali. Rahman shared that he instantly loved the project when director Buchi Babu Sana and Sukumar pitched it to him. He also praised lead actor Ram Charan's dancing, stating that his performance brought the music to life, while teasing that the film features several unreleased background tracks.
Janhvi Kapoor described the film as a meaningful story about identity that will strongly resonate with younger audiences. She spoke about her initial nervousness with the Telugu language, noting that Ram Charan's calm, patient demeanor helped her feel entirely comfortable on set. Kapoor also thanked producer Venkata Satish Kilaru and playfully remarked that Ram Charan's character, Peddi, is her favorite cricketer due to his unmatched style on screen.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Charan acknowledged his limited Hindi but emphasized his deep appreciation for the people of Madhya Pradesh. He explained that Peddi balances sports elements with an inspiring journey of self-discovery, declaring it the number one film in his personal career library. Charan expressed gratitude to the team, specifically highlighting Rahman as the film's biggest pillar, and lightheartedly dismissed his filming injuries as memorable gifts before promising to return for a success tour. The movie is releasing on 4th June, worldwide.
