The Telangana Exhibitors and the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce have given a major shock to the makers of Peddi. Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru had asked for the rental system to be continued for the film in the Telugu States, and during the Film Chamber mediation, he agreed to give a nominal percentage as well.

However, today, the Telangana Exhibitors appeared before the press and stated that they will not allow the exhibition of Peddi or any other film in Telangana from here on if the producers do not accept the percentage system.

The exhibitors stated that producers should immediately decide on the percentage they are ready to give for Peddi and all future films. They opined that the active guild is trying to sweep the issue under the carpet, just like they did during Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and are firing from the shoulders of Peddi.

Furthermore, shocking everyone, they announced that they have written a letter to the state's CM, Revanth Reddy, requesting that ticket price hikes should not be awarded to any film. Due to the recent hikes, family audiences are avoiding walking into single screens and even multiplexes. They also requested the CM to provide some tax benefits, as single-screen theatres are bleeding and the industry needs incentives to carry on.

On the other hand, the Peddi team is in Bhopal for the Hellallalo song launch event. A.R. Rahman is going to perform live at the event. Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor have arrived in the city. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the movie has generated huge anticipation and buzz.
