King Nagarjuna turned emotional while speaking about Pallaburusu at the film's pre-release event, expressing his happiness and pride in producing a story rooted in genuine human emotions. Produced by Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios, the film is directed by Uday Chauhan and is set against the backdrop of rural Telangana. It is gearing up for its theatrical release on August 14. He revealed it is special because it is releasing on his mother Annapurnamma's birthday and stated that it will always remain special for him and Annapurna as they are making it in their golden jubilee year. 

Speaking at the event, Uday Chauhan revealed that he was deeply moved by the way the younger generation is sometimes neglecting their parents, which inspired him to make Pallaburusu. He said the film explores a fractured father-son relationship through a seemingly small issue, highlighting how even the smallest incidents can expose the biggest cracks within a family. He also expressed his gratitude for getting an opportunity to narrate the story to his idol Nagarjuna and make the film under the prestigious Annapurna Studios banner.

Nagarjuna became emotional while remembering his parents ANR and Annapurnamma. He said he considers himself fortunate to have had the opportunity to take care of his parents, while also admitting that he misses them. He urged the younger generation to understand the importance of caring for their parents and preserving family bonds.

Nagarjuna also revealed that his father ANR used to take care of his mother Annapurnamma with immense affection, even putting her needs ahead of his own. Interestingly, August 14 is Annapurnamma's birthday, making the release of Pallaburusu on the same day particularly special for the Akkineni family. He further revealed that the idea to make a film reflecting Telangana culture came from Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and the team developed it into a story showcasing the simplicity and emotional depth of rural Telangana.

Having watched the film himself, Nagarjuna said its genuine emotions touched his heart. He expressed confidence that audiences will laugh throughout the film while also leaving theatres with their hearts filled with happiness. He believes Pallaburusu will be remembered for its genuine emotions and is confident that the film will emerge as a big success.
