Ram Gopal Varma new movie is Oka Prema Katha. And this Oka Prema Katha Telugu movie will be once again directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Oka Prema Katha movie is based on a real life incident that took place in Mumbai on May 7, 2008 where a girl named Maria Susai Raj and her lover brutally killed a person, chopped the dead body into pieces, burnt it with kerosene and eventually threw the ashes in the outskirts.

Ram Gopal Varma has decided to make a Oka Prema Katha on similar lines and he's planning to make Oka Prema Katha a bilingual movie – Telugu and Tamil. ‘Dev D’ fame Mahi Gill is being roped in to play the role of Maria Susairaj. While the remaining cast is yet to be finalized.

In a press release, Ram Gopal Varma said, “The Mumbai based incident is perhaps the most scary murder I ever heard off. And I even met their friends, relatives, policemen, investigators, lawyers, etc and I'm shocked to know about an unbelievable love story behind that brutal murder. Its the love that has prompted the couple to murder and this Oka Prema Katha movie is certainly not for the weak hearted.
